Everything we do is centered on you. Your health and well-being as a woman are our primary concern, and by partnering with you, we can offer you the latest and best OB/GYN care available.
Whether you are planning a pregnancy, seeking help for infertility, approaching menopause, or simply maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Arkansas Women's Center is the source for trusted and individualized medical care for women in the central Arkansas region.
The physicians at Arkansas Women's Center strive to be more than the ordinary OB/GYN office by providing high-quality, personally oriented, innovative medical, obstetrical and surgical services to patients throughout our community. The group sets high standards of performance for each staff member, and we choose to work closely with each other to maintain balanced personal and professional lives.
All the staff at AWC LOVES taking care of pregnant women! We are thrilled that you would entrust us with your care during your pregnancy! If you're late for a period and think that you might be pregnant, do a home pregnancy test. The tests you can purchase at any pharmacy/grocery store are virtually the same urine test we do in the clinic. If you have a positive test, call us and make a new OB appointment. We like to see patients around 8 weeks from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). A confusing thing is that we go by weeks of pregnancy, not months. The average time from your LMP until delivery is 40 weeks.
Arkansas Women's Center provides in office well woman care, office gynecology services, in office surgery, outpatient surgery, and in-patient surgery. Please look through the following list of services to see what we have to offer you.
We highly encourage all women to get regular gynecologic "check-ups"! The frequency of those visits depends on your age and history. Most women should see us yearly. This would usually include a breast exam, pelvic exam and Pap smear. Other services could be included.
