I think the school board is being unfair. Friday March, 19 there was a boy in the Hall way with a gun and no one reported it and it wasnt on the news but when hall had a gun but it wasnt even in the school everyone went nuts... That is so unfair to us , how do you think we feel

My heart breaks for these families. I can't imagine having to go through this as a parent. My thoughts and prayers go out to them and their classmates. May God give you peace during this tragic time in their lives.

How sad. May all our thoughts be with the families.

I commend law enforcement in the county for their efforts to curb underage drinking. I went through a checkpoint Friday night at the intersection of Hwy. 70 and Hwy. 391 by the Galloway truckstops. There were no less than 20 police cruisers there from many different agencies. PCSO, NLRPD, Hwy Patrol, State Police, and Sherwood PD were there. There were portable lights set up and a gauntlet of uniformed officers amongst traffic cones and barriers. This obviously required a large amount of resources. IMHO there was enough manpower and equipment to have provided 3 or 4 checkpoints. The wider distribution would be more effective than what I saw as a well-lit display of force standing around doing some interagency jawing.

This is so sad! I hope their family and friends find peace while dealing with their loss.

The IDIOTS talk about health care reform in Washington while the people on main street are looking for jobs. Again Washington out of touch

I am saddened that it took this long to involve the FBI. The actions on behalf of the police department- and especially the Sheriff of Pulaski County- tossing her aside and labeling her as a runaway who chose to leave and therefor unimportant of any REAL action for weeks while ignoring the fact that she was THIRTEEN YEARS OLD and in the company of an adult male with sick intentions should be a real wake up call for us all. As a parent of two small children I have to hope that I never need their help as they will do only the most basic actions until their hands are forced. Why in the heck weren't the phone records looked at before? Why haven't they attempted to track this guys movements with by tracking his cell phone? I hope that now that this case is in the FBI's hands it will be taken more seriously. More I hope that the current sheriff of Pulaski county will not be re-elected as I believe his dalliance on this case shows where his priorities lie and it's incredibly heartbreaking to know that this family may suffer for him deciding that a 13 year old girl who ran away with an adult male she met on the internet just wasn't that big of a deal until she had been missing for a while. Had he actually gotten off his butt and tried right after she went missing she might have been found and discovered while still in the state still and be at home with her family where she belongs and the sicko man who has her behind bars where he rightfully belongs. Shame on you Sheriff Holladay! I hope you aren't able to rest and your conscience eats you ALIVE until this girl is found (hopefully safe) and reunited with her family.

I think that considering that the banking/credit industry bought the junk they were fed by the government and the ate it, that the general public should not be penalized by lowering their credit score.

Right on sparrowhawk60. I am beginning to wonder if someone re-wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and someone forgot to tell us.I am hoping that the 46% of this country that supports Obama will wake up and realize that bigger government is not the answer, less government is what this country needs. It is time for WE THE PEOPLE to take back this country and get back to the roots of its origin and rise again out of the ashes of Progressivism which is what has been the downfall of this United States of America!!!!!!
