I agree attempted murder is just as bad as murder. If you failed in your attemped to murder someone, tooooo bad! You made the effort to kill them. And you should pay for trying the same as if you had killed them. Your intent was the same.I am for the death penalty but don't have enough faith that we always have the guilty person behind bars.I have seen too many wittnesses lie, too many officers plant things,too many people given deals to turn on another person. Not that it happens that often but to kill one inosent person is one too many. And the fact that a person has a public defender is a major strike aganist them from the start.

Oh and amen to the checking out the lawyers and judges too. They use that "good ole boy" system.
