David Raath is Sports Director for FOX16 News. David joined FOX16 in March of 2004.
David lived in Little Rock as a child and joining FOX16 was like coming home after many years. David brings with him extensive experience in Sports Journalism. He served as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at WNEM-TV in Saginaw, Michigan and WEYI-TV in Flint Michigan. He also worked with CNN Sports in Atlanta, Georgia.
David earned a degree in Broadcasting from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His philosophy is to make his sportscast interesting to everyone.
David spends time volunteering in Soup Kitchens and working with Church Youth Groups. He enjoys just about every sport but his favorite to watch is College Football. He also loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.
