Marci Manley joined the Little Rock news team in September 2011. She comes to Little Rock from our sister station KNWA in Fayetteville, where she had been reporting since October 2009.
Marci hails from the Arkansas Delta, where she graduated from Lee High School in Marianna. She came to the University of Arkansas in 2005 and graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and Middle East studies in May 2009.
Marci got her start in journalism as a staff writer and columnist for The Brinkley Argus in high school. But the hectic nature of live television news was something she learned at UATV, where she climbed the ranks from camera operator to News Director. During her college years, she traveled to Morocco and England studying abroad. She also got a taste of international news coverage of a presidential election during a Fall 2008 internship at Al-Arabiya News in Washington, D.C.
When she's not covering a story, Marci enjoys perusing through local thrift shops, watching indie films, and indulging in a good book.
If you have a story you think others need to hear about, Marci wants to hear from you.
