Roby Brock is the Business and Financial Analyst reporter for FOX16 News. Roby joined FOX16 in July of 2004.

Roby Brock is also the host of Talk Business, a weekly television program airing in central and northwest Arkansas that focuses on state business, politics and public affairs.

Talk Business airs Sunday nights at 10pm on Fox 16 in Little Rock. Every week, Roby interviews the state’s top business brass for insight on their companies and industries. From the nation‘s capitol to city hall, his political coverage gets to the bottom of major public policies that affect Arkansans’ everyday life.

As a small business owner for over ten years, Roby’s background includes a broad range of communications consulting experience involving public relations, grassroots coalition building, advertising, marketing, media relations, internal/external communications, copywriting, video/audio production, media placement, and political and public affairs campaigns.

In the public sector, he has served on the staff of the Governor of Arkansas, has headed a state agency, and has covered legislative and political affairs for over a decade. Roby has also worked behind the scenes in scores of political and public affairs campaigns.

Roby’s broadcast work in media has earned him state and national recognition. In 2000, he won a coveted Society of Professional Journalists’ “Green Eyeshade” award for his WWII documentary, Survivors, which beat the competition from a thirteen state region. In 2003, the Arkansas Society of Association Executives awarded “Best of Show” for his informational video, The Architect: Art, Experience, & Value, which explains the interaction between architects and their clients.

Born in Fayetteville, Roby is a graduate of Little Rock Hall High School and Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, where he earned a B.A. in English. He and his wife, Stephanie, have two children and live in Little Rock.
