As many of you know, Kris Allen has support from people around the world. There is one young man in Canada that heard all about how Kris's brother Daniel was trying to get to L.A. to watch his brother perform more often in the competition. I thought I would share an email that he sent to me. His generous donation is going to go a long way, as well as the kind words he had to say in his letter. The letter is below...

Hi Jeremy,
My name is Stephen Legresley, Kathy at the Pizza Inn suggested I contact you. I'm a college law student from London Ontario Canada.
I started out as a fan of Kris Allen's simply based on his wonderful musical skills, but then I read about the inspiring mission work he's done around the world and I have so much respect for that. So then I was reading on a site about how the local community is trying to raise money to send Kris' brother Daniel out to see him perform on the show and I was so touched by seeing a community come together for someone like that, that I felt I had to do something to help.
So I sent a donation to Kris through the American Idol fan mailing address but then I was worried that he might not get it. So I gathered what I could and sent another one to Kathy at the Pizza Inn to help with the fundrasier. It's just that often in life it feels like there's so many things you can't do, that when a chance to help someone like this comes along I believe you should, and the only reason a person should need to is because you can.
People need to hear more stories like what this community is doing for Kris and the extraordinary way they are helping his brother. With Kris' mission work he showed what one person can do to make a difference and your community is now showing how much love and support exists in communities all over north america. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kris, his family and your community and I wish him the very best in his career.
