After yet another amazing week on American Idol, Conway's Kris Allen advances to the Top 5! Two contestants were eliminated last night, Anoop Desai and Lil Rounds. Nobody was eliminated last week, thanks to the judge's save, which kept Matt Giraud in the competition. And he survived elimination tonight. The other contestant that was in the bottom three was Allison.
Kris Allen presented his kick-awesome performance of "She Works Hard For The Money" during the disco week of American Idol. All four judges were impressed with his version of the song, which got him rave reviews, and plenty of votes.
Watch parties were held across Arkansas, including the largest yet at the Farris Center on UCA's campus Tuesday night, where nearly 1,000 fans packed into the arena. Last night a watch party/fundraiser was held at Pizza Inn on Oak Street in Conway, to raise money to help get Kris's brother Daniel out to L.A. to see him perform.
