That's right Idol fans, our very own Kris Allen from Conway, Arkansas has made it to the top triple-dozen in Season 8 of American Idol. He was featured for about 5 seconds on tonight's show, but just enough time to let us know that he will be appearing in the live shows, which start next Tuesday.
For the next three weeks, the 36 will perform, twelve at a time. Next week, the first twelve will sing on Tuesday, with nine of them being kicked off the next night, after America votes. The second 12 will sing the following week, followed by the last dozen the week after that. We know Kris won't be singing next week, so make sure to watch each show to watch Kris and all the other Idol hopefuls.
Of course many in Arkansas will be voting for Kris Allen, after all, it sure would be exciting if the next American Idol came from right here in Central Arkansas. Many websites have popped up promoting the 23-year-old business student, including,
