After performing a spectacular version of Michael Jackson's "Man In The Mirror," University of Central Arkansas Business major Kris Allen moves on to American Idol Season 8's top 12! Only three of the dozen that performed last night made it through to the finals which begin in two weeks.
Watch parties took place all across Central Arkansas this week, including at the Rev Room in downtown Little Rock, Razorback Pizza and Bears Den Pizza in Conway, and right at the heart of Conway on UCA's campus. We captured the action last night when Kris performed, and those pictures can be seen in the slideshow along with this blog.
American Idol continues next Tuesday night with the final group of 12 semifinalists performing, then the results on Wednesday. Then on Thursday night a special Wildcard episode with three more finalists being chosen by the judges to advance to the top 12.
