In celebration of the 79th Birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission is proud to present the twelfth annual Salute to Greatness Awards Gala, January 18, 2008, sponsored by FOX16.
The FOX16 Youth Achievement Award is given to a deserving teenager who displays an extraordinary commitment to the humanitarian efforts espoused and demonstrated by Dr. King. Nominees should foster interracial cooperation, nonviolence, community service and act as a good role model for those lives they touch. Nominees should reside in Arkansas and be between 13 and 19 years old.
If you would like to nominate someone for the 2008 FOX16 Youth Achievement Award, please complete the nomination form and attach a statement (Must be between 450 and 500 words, double-spaced typewritten page, supporting materials optional) detailing why you feel your nominee should be considered for the 2008 FOX16 Youth Achievement Award.
