And then there were three. Michael Lynche made it to the final four after being voted off earlier in the season and saved by the judges. After Tuesday's performance he was voted off the show.

Tuesday night the Idol contestants took some of our favorite movies and made them come alive through song. Crystal and Lee took on the song Falling Slowly, the same song Kris Allen sang last year on movie night.

Jamie Foxx was this week's mentor for the contestants and they were glad to see him come back.

"I think jamie is going to be unbelievable, we met him in the parking lot where we record at a couple of weeks ago and he started mentoring us right on the spot," says Michael Lynche.

Now for the remaining three the fun really begins including their hometown visits!

American idol should have been discontinued years ago. The talent level has hit rock bottom and it's really isn't worth watching. Hopefully, this will be the last year for this awful program.
