American Idol moved on to Hollywood Tuesday night, with the start of two weeks of Hollywood auditions. By next Wednesday the competition will be cut down to the top 24. Those 24 will make it to the live shows.
Tuesday night we saw Little Rock's Charity Vance make it through day one! Congratulations to her and the 95 others still in the contest.
There are still some other Arkansans we have yet to see in the golden state, including Mayflower's Zachary Hickman. And we were there in Dallas when he found out he'd be making the big trip. The 17-year-old remains in Hollywood, with the support of his friends and family. The one thing he was most nervous about during his audition in Dallas, was meeting the all-powerful Joe Jonas!
Along with Zachary and Charity, David Pittman of Gassville, Arkansas and Keia Johnson whose family lives in Little Rock, also are still in the contest.
