Little Rock's Charity Vance already has her own music videos, the most requested song on a Hot Springs radio station, and two trips to Hollywood on American Idol under her belt. Now, she can add high school graduate to that list.

Charity is only 18 and made it to Hollywood again this year. FOX16 caught up with her Sunday at her high school graduation party to find out what's next for this rising star.

Her new music videos are shot right here in Arkansas. I you haven't heard Charity's music until now, get ready to hear more.

"That's my goal. Just to go for everything," Vance says. "Because of American Idol last year, I had to drop out of Arkansas Baptist and home school, and so the friendships that I still have from Arkansas Baptist they're strong and they're so supportive of me."

FOX16 first met Charity on season nine of American Idol when she made it through to Hollywood for the first time.

"They push you so much just with the performing aspects. They give you no time to memorize lyrics," she says of the experience. "Because of American Idol, I have so many more fans outside Arkansas. That's awesome."

Charity can't talk about season ten, but, she does have big news to share with us. She's moving to Nashville.

"It's really exciting getting to, I guess, fully grow up in the sense that I'm moving away and really just wholeheartedly pursuing this music career," she says.

Charity writes all of her own songs now.

"It's just like a girl that feels things, and it's like her heart, you know, opens up," she says about her music.

When she moves, she will collaborate with other artists who will become her second family as she leaves her parents in Little Rock.

"We're a family of three, and very close, so it's gonna be kind of hard, but it happens sometime, you know, it's gonna happen," she says.
