Jeremy Rosado eliminated from Idol

There are now 12 contestants vying for the American Idol crown. On Thursday night's elimination show one finalist got their walking papers.

Jennifer Lopez said, “We've come to the decision that...um...we're gonna save Elise.”

Last week J-Lo saved Jeremy Rosado but she didn't make it two in a row. So Jeremy is the first contestant booted from the live competition.

In a twist this week, America voted and Jeremy and Elise landed in the bottom two. The judges-- not your votes -- picked who had to go home. In this case it was Jeremy.

The 12 remaining finalists perform again Wednesday at 7pm on FOX16.
