It was a tough start to the day for one Idol contestant who almost didn't make it to Thursday’s live performance.
Phillip Phillips is the contestant performed live on Idol's results show but Thursday morning Phillips went to the doctor for stomach pains.
The Georgia native is being treated for kidney stones but his family says he's doing okay.
At one point there were concerns on whether he would be able to continue.
