Tonight the top 10 girls were supposed to sing on
American Idol. However, one of them, Crystal Bowersox, came down with an illness and was
taken to the hospital. She is expected to be just fine by next week. The result, a little Idol switcheroo.
The top 10 guys were bumped up to tonight and seemed to do a lot better than last week. One of the most improved was Alex Lambert, who Ellen said was like an unripe banana put into a paper bag and allowed to ripen quickly in a week. (That was a compliment.)
On Wednesday the Top 10 girls will take the stage singing their hearts out to America and putting their futures in your hands, as we have entered the public voting portion of the show. Then on Thursday, two guys and two girls will be kicked off the show after two nights of voting by Idol fans.
Our
FOX16's Idol Minds Name Game is drawing to a close. Wednesday night will be the last night you can enter to win. Daily winners will receive an American Idol Prize Pack. On Thursday, the grand prize winner will be chosen and will bag a trip to Hollywood including airfare, hotel and tickets to
American Idol.
