We're nearing the final 12 of this season of American Idol. Tuesday night the eight remaining ladies gave it their best, but some only put out their worst.
Katie Stevens was first up, with Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway." According to the judges, the song was just too big for her, putting her in jeopardy of leaving the show. On the flip side, Lacey Brown hit a home run, and as Simon put it, she knows how to connect with the audience, and knows where the cameras are which is a big part of the contest. We'll find out if she connected with the voters on Thursday.
But first the remaining eight guys must sing their best Wednesday night on FOX16. And after that on FOX16 News At Nine, Hollywood Week contestant and ASU graduate Keia Johnson will be live in our FOX16's Idol Minds segment to give us her insight as to what the contestants are going through as they march closer to the top 12.
Are you one of those Kris Allen fans? There sure are a lot of them. And if you've been waiting for him to tour closer to home, you'll soon have your chance to see him. All you have to do is head to Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, just outside of Dallas, for a performance on March 20th. And if you can wait, on May 29th, he'll be even closer with a concert at the Saline Summer Daze Festival.
