American Idol's live shows have resumed! We saw the top 12 girls sing Tuesday night, and their fate lies in the hands of the voters. Wednesday night, the top 12 guys will perform, with the voting following the show. On Thursday, two women, and two men, will be kicked off of the show, leaving 20 contestants behind. That will be the pattern for the next three weeks, until the 12 remaining finalists remain. From there, one will leave each week, until the next American Idol is crowned.
Kris Allen talked to our own Kevin Kelly, and had this to say about this season's contest..
Kris says: "I think the biggest thing so far is that there are a lot of really talented girls, and that's awesome! I think it's the girls time."
And Wednesday night we'll find out just how the guys will stack up against the girls.
