The remaining eight male finalists did their best to WOW America, and get enough votes to make it into the top 12 of American Idol. On Tuesday, the remaining eight women sang for the glory. Thursday night on Idol, the top 12 will be revealed, as two more men and two more women are sent home.
ASU graduate student Keia Johnson stopped by our FOX16 studios Wednesday evening to join us for FOX16's Idol Minds. She made it to Hollywood Week on this season of American Idol, but was cut just before the top 24. She told us that the amount of talent left in Hollywood is immense, and is well familiar with the pressure that the remaining contestants are going through. However, she says it is still too early to tell if the winner will be male or female. It's hard to argue with that, this early in the competition.
Make sure to watch FOX16 Thursday night, for the Idol results show and the reveal of the top 12. That will be followed by FOX16 News at Nine and our FOX16's Idol Minds segment.
