The American Idol journey for both Little Rock's Charity Vance, and former ASU student Keia Johnson, has come to an end. Tuesday on Idol the remaining 71 contestants were split into three rooms, and unfortunately for those two young women, they happened to land in the room that was sent home from Hollywood.
We haven't seen much of Mayflower's Zachary Hickman, or former UCA student Jim Ranger. So at this point, it looks like they were likely cut from the competition, but we will know for sure tomorrow.
American Idol will continue cutting down the competition, with just one night to go until ALL of the top 24 contestants are revealed. Tonight we found out the names of seven of those top 24, and tomorrow night, we'll find out the rest. And from there, next Tuesday and Wednesday the show goes live, with the top 12 guys and top 12 girls performing for your votes.
Don't forget about our FOX16's Idol Minds name game, which goes on for another three nights. In order to play, all you have to do is watch FOX16 News At Nine tomorrow night, and next Tuesday and Wednesday, to find out the name of the former contestant of the night. Then go to the
FOX16's Idol Minds to enter that person's name. Weekly winners will receive an American Idol prize pack, with one grand prize winner bagging a trip to Hollywood to sit in the audience of American Idol, including hotel and airfare.
