American Idol Season Nine auditions will be held this summer in Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Orlando, Los Angeles and Denver. Specific dates will be announced.
Last year auditions included more than 100,000 hopefuls who turned out in San Francisco, Louisville, KY, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Juan, PR; Kansas City, Jacksonville, FL and East Rutherford, NJ.
American Idol Kris Allen tried out in Louisville, Kentucky.
