Central Arkansas Workforce Center at Conway will be hosting a job fair Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. This fair is free and open to the public and will last from 10am until 12pm.
A wide variety of industries throughout the North Little Rock metro area will be participating. Employers will include Arkansas Department of Corrections, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Sherwood Nursing, Grace Maumelle, H&R Block, Primerica, Jackson Hewitt, and Armed Forces. Attendees will also be able to meet with workforce center staff about other opportunities in the area and center services.
Arkansas Workforce Centers provide services to both employers and job seekers. Services include dislocated worker programs, job search assistance, employability skills, new and incumbent worker training, employee recruitment and screening, labor market information and more. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 am until 4:30 pm. All services are free of charge
