WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Labor on Monday, Jan. 4, began making multiple online resources available for job seekers through a
government Web site.
The public is invited to explore the resources, review them and provide feedback to the Labor Department through Jan. 15. Free access to nearly 450 job search and career Web sites will be available during that time through the
Web portal, department officials said.
“In late January, the department will share the tools receiving the most positive feedback with the public. An alphabetical list of all tools that were submitted during the contest will be posted and will serve as a lasting job search and career information resource for job seekers,” the Labor Department said.
