Divers suited up and went down into the Little Missouri River Sunday looking for the body of any victim who may have been trapped under a tree or some other kind of debris.  This comes on the heels of the deadly flash flood at the Albert Pike Campground in southwest Arkansas Friday.

The divers have a grim job but it's one they know has to be done. At 1:00 Sunday afternoon dive teams from the Murfreesboro Fire Department headed out to the river to see what they could find.

Travis Branch with the fire department said, "You don't know what to expect; the odds aren't good but you never know."

One by one they got in the water on foot and fanned out.  They were searching the edges of the river and looking under debris and rock bluffs.  If anyone lost in the flood waters got pinned down under something, people doing this job will likely find them.

The heat of the sun and the cold water temperatures made for rough working conditions, but still these experts looked and looked.  Fatigue becomes a problem in these situations.  That's why sustained support from volunteers is so important in large scale operations like this.

Branch says he knows this is just one portion of a massive undertaking by hundreds of people. He just hopes that soon hurting families get some answers.
