Grandmother, toddler among dead in flooding

Those killed in flash floods at the Albert Pike Recreation Area loved the outdoors in general and the rugged beauty of the Ouachita Mountains in particular. The 18 confirmed dead include a number of children, a young mother and a New Orleans-area who had vacationed in the area for 60 years.

It is soooo hard to wrap my head around all of this. Such a tragic story. My heart breaks for these families and for the rescue worker that have devoted themselves to finding the missing. I can only pray the Lord comforts these families during this time. I don't know any of them but I have cried many many times and prayed so many times for each and every one of them. My heart is just completely broken.
