When it comes to tailgating, you don’t have many options when it comes to watching a football game on the go. Well, Axion claims their new HD portable TV can solve this problem. Their television is easy on the wallet, and the makers say it provides a stunning HD picture – but is it a deal or a dud?
Old portable TVs used to be incredibly small and expensive. Yet, if you wanted to watch the big game while on the go - they wwere the only option.
Times have changed, and Axiom has made it cheap to watch games on the go.
This 7” portable LCD TV comes with a $50 price tag and a rechargeable battery.
That all sounds great on paper – but what do the fans have to say about it?
"How do I get one of these?"
"It looks cool!"
After their initial reactions – most people pointed out the long antenna. It was a problem for some.
A caution sticker on the TV suggested using a different antenna. Two antennas for one screen? Without the extra antenna, it was hard to pick up a signal. That was enough to make it a dud for some testers.
Chad tried it out with a younger fan. Austin wanted the TV – but could he get a signal? The pair tried the attached antenna first. They did manage to pick up a few channels – but none of them were in HD. Austin didn’t care – he considered the TV a deal.
Tim, on the other hand, wasn’t so convinced about the Axion portable TV.
"It's alright. It's a little cheap." Tim said. “It's not something I want to waste $50 on."
If you think the Axion Portable TV is a deal at $50, you can buy it online.
