For those of you that are frequent lipstick wearers you know that re-applying can sometimes be an on the hour-every hour occasion. But CoverGirl has a new product it says will stay on your lips all day long.  We wanted to find out if CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain is a deal, or a dud.

The CoverGirl pen applicator is supposed to deliver a lightweight flush of color that won't come off for hours!

Malinda, Ashley and Katie work at an ice cream shop, and are excited to find out if it's a deal or a dud!

The instructions are simple. "Apply to clean dry lips!"

The product resembles a marker, and Malinda easily draws on the Lipstain, filling in with color, but she notices one problem. The color on the outside doesn't match with what ends up her lips. "I still like it, but if this is the color you were wanting, you're not going to get that necessarily."

“It feels like you're coloring your lips with a marker," Ashley says. Ashley's color is a little closer but there's still a difference. Finally Katie puts on her Lipstain. It's supposed to be a nude shade. Instead she gets a brighter pout, but she's happy.

"I does not feel like I'm wearing much of anything so that's good!" Katie said.

All of our volunteers say their lips feel moisturized and free of make up. But will the product hold up over time? Remember it is called Outlast Lipstain. Malinda, Ashley and Katie get back to work. A few hours later, it's time for a snack break.

They all enjoy some frozen yogurt and the CoverGirl Lipstain doesn't seem to mind it either. But can it withstand the dreaded napkin? Four hours after application and each CoverGirl is pleased.

"I don't feel like I'm wearing anything honestly. I've forgotten it was there while I was at work," Malinda said.

"Usually between licking my lips and eating and drinking it's gone in way less than four hours," Ashley said.

"It stayed on pretty well and I'm pretty happy with it," Katie said.

But is the Outlast Lipstain a deal or a dud? All three say it is a deal! A Triple deal! That's a first!

I you think the Outlast Lipstain will be a deal for you, it will cost you about $7 in most stores. A representative from CoverGirl says that the color of your lips, may affect the appearance of the shade.
