The makers of the
Dryer Balls say they will decrease your drying time and fluff up your clothes, all while softening them as well. Jeremy Baker puts them to the test to find out if they are a Deal or a Dud.
Laundry it's the chore no one likes but everyone has to do.
Commercial says: “Now there's Dryer Balls, the natural way to soften your laundry, saving you time and saving you money."
Since the Dryer Balls look like so much fun, we're going to Funwash. I've got my laundry, now I just need someone to help test this out.
We found Tammy from Fun Wash, she helped us test out the Dryer Balls,
“I think theoretically they will work," Tammy said.
But before the drying, I had to wash the clothes. Meanwhile, I had Tammy read the instructions.
Clothes in, Dryer balls in, quarters in and we were off!
Commercial says: “They lift and separate your clothes allowing the warm air to circulate more efficiently through your laundry."
That's what they say, but what about Tammy? "It looks like the balls are beating against the clothes and keeping them from tangling up."
Sounds good and just a few minutes later they were all done. "Normally all your other clothes are dry before your towels are and you're waiting on them, this is completely dry," Tammy said. "It is soft."
And according to Tammy, there's another plus. "If you're allergic to Downy or any other kind of softener, then these aren't going to have the chemicals."
You can't argue that, but can you argue with Tammy’s final decision? “I say they're a deal!"
If you think the Dryer Balls will be a deal for you, you can
order it online for $9.95 plus the shipping, or you can get it at Walgreen’s for the same price and avoid the shipping charges.
