Many of you may be taking on some work around the house.  If you're painting, the makers of the Point 'N Point say their product can make your job a whole lot easier.

This week we are testing out the most asked about as seen on TV product, the Point 'N Paint.  And there's no better person to test it out than Matt from Sherwin Williams, the painting expert of the week.

“I think its going to be interesting.  It's making some pretty big claims.  So we'll have to see,” Matt said.

Commercial says: "The Point 'N Paint is the best edger ever, perfect results every time."

"There are a lot of instructions, just trying to figure out where all these pieces go."  Eventually Matt got it figured out and started to test one.  "It said for side to side movements, on the surface, so that seems to work pretty nice."

But we had to ramp it up for the next test.  Commercial said: "Glide along moldings, zip around corners, even paint circles around pictures and fitting."

The clock is the first obstacle.  "Its goin on nice, my only concern is going to be around this light socket which we're going to do next, because this clock comes out a little bit so its not that easy to tell."

And he has reason to worry.  "It holds a good bit of paint as for keeping it off the edges I don't know that this product would be that good. You can see how the paint seeps down into the hard plastic side," Matt said.

But wait -- we have one more test!  The Commercial said: "Under the grip is the swivel pole adapter, attach any pole, and painting a ceiling is easier than ever."

"One of the great things about this product is it can take any broom stick.  So now we're gonna take the big board, and edge along here, and see how it works that way."

Matt's first try didn't have enough paint. So he used more and it seemed to work.  But when it came to edging,  "If you're in a corner, it’s gonna be kinda hard to control, as you can tell it kinda slides out from under you."

Jeremy asks: "Alright Matt, its called the Point 'N Paint, would you say, it's a deal or a dud?”  Matt says “It depends…if you have the time to use it, I'd say it's a deal, it takes a lot of meticulous time, but overall I would have to say it's a dud."

If you think the Point 'N Paint will be a deal for you, you can order it online for $19.99 plus the shipping, or you can get it at Walgreen’s for the same price and avoid the shipping charges.
