Some inventions require a lot of trial and error, detailed designs, and years of planning before being marketed, but some, are so unbelievably simple, that anyone could come up with the idea.  The makers of the Snuggie say the super soft, thick and luxurious blanket will keep you warm while giving you the freedom to use your hands.  Jeremy Baker tested it out to find out if it is a Deal or a Dud.

For the Snuggie test we got Adam to help us out

Commercial says: "There's the Snuggie, the blanket that has sleeves!"

But, can Adam do all of the tasks they show in the Snuggie commercial, including answering the phone, changing TV channels, eating a snack, drinking tea, reading, and wearing it outside?

He tried all of these activities and they works so we took it to the next level!

Jeremy asks: "Adam, can you change a light bulb while wearing the Snuggie?
Adam says: “With ease!"

"Adam, can you do sit-ups while wearing the Snuggie?”  “Unfortunately!"

"Adam, can you run down the hall while wearing the Snuggie?”  “As long as I hold it up!"

"Okay Adam it’s called the Snuggie, would you say it's a deal or a dud?” Adam said: “I'd say, it's a deal!"

The Snuggie has even hit the runway! New colors debuted during fashion week in New York City including berry red and passion purple, and there are even animal prints and Snuggies for kids and dogs.

If you think the Snuggie will be a deal for you, you can get it in three colors on the official Snuggie website.  It’ll cost you $19.95 plus shipping, but you'll get two of them.  But it'll cost you an extra eight bucks in shipping for the second one.  Or, you can one Snuggie at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $14.99.
