Fresh Express is voluntarily recalling 2,825 cases of Veggie Lovers Salad with a product code of 1208 and use date of August 10, 2010.
The company says it is doing this out of caution due to a possible health risk. No illnesses have been reported in association with the recall.
Only Veggie Lovers Salad with code 1208 is included in the recall. Consumers can check their product codes by looking in the upper right-hand corner of their package.
The company is asking any retailer or consumer who has product code 1208 to discard it.
