$10k in stolen equipment

$10,000 in merchandise and equipment has been stolen from a local business.

Now, Pulaski County Deputies are on the hunt for those responsible.

The crime took place here at the State Highway Transportation Maintenance Department on Shamburger Lane.

According to deputies, someone cut the chain off the front gate, then took two trailers parked in the back of the lot.

On those trailers were thousands of dollars worth of equipment, including various cylinders, helmets, hoses and couplings used in welding projects.
