Conway: attempted robbery

Conway police are on the lookout for two men who attempted to rob two female roommates at gunpoint as they walked to their apartment. The crime took place last Friday at the Chapel Ridge apartment complex.

Police say the roommates were walking to their apartment when they noticed two men standing by a bench in the courtyard. When the men started following the women one of them ran to the apartment and the other did not.

She told police one of the men pulled out a gun, pointed it at her face and told her to give him her purse. She was not hurt but was unable to give police a good description of the men because they were wearing black and gray hoodies with bandanas over their faces.
