JACKSONVILLE, AR – Officials from the Jacksonville Police Department are searching for a man suspected of stealing money from a church and school.

According to reports, on March 18, police responded to a burglary at Bible Baptist Church and Jacksonville Christian Academy, located at 3301 N. First Street in Jacksonville. Police believe the burglary may have occurred between 9:45 pm and 6:30 am.

Police say a Wal-Mart employee saw a man carrying a large plastic jar and a First Arkansas Bank and Trust bag into the store during the early hours of March 18. Witnesses say the man requested large bills in exchange for a large amount of small, loose bills and put loose change into the Coin Star machine, later leaving the jar and bank bag at Walmart.

The man is described as about 6’1”, weighing about 165-180 pounds and wearing a dark T-shirt with a guitar across the front and dark jeans. The man had a receding hairline and half-sleeve tattoos covering both of his forearms. He was observed driving a dark colored, four door SUV.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the man.

First we don't know this guy is a deadbeat without a job. We should never assume any thing. It is possible the thief worked for one of these places. One thing I do know is that who ever stole from the church and school is the worse kind of low life. - and Walmart does have security camera's every where so it is only a matter of time until the person who brought all that money into a walmart to cash it in will have some explaining to do.

really? so he decided to knock off a school and a church, and what it sounds like the majority of his money was only good for the coin star machine so he couldnt have gotten that much maybe $100
