Pizza Hut robbery

A Pizza Hut employee on his way to make a nightly deposit is robbed and beaten by three suspects.

The crime happened at the Pizza Hut along the 900 block of McMath Street.

Police say as the employee was leaving, three men jumped out from behind a trash can. One of the suspects then hit the employee with a baseball bat. The same man then demanded that the employee to hand over the nightly deposit bag.

After a brief struggle the suspects took off with the cash.
