That's the damage estimate after thieves steal the copper from not one, but six a/c units at a local church.
Sheriff’s deputies are still trying to figure out who's responsible.
The crime happened earlier this month at the First Pentecostal Church on Highway 161.
The Sheriff’s Office says that there are no new leads, but they're still working overtime on this case.
What's impressive is that the steel fence surrounding the units didn't stop the criminals.
