Connie from North Little Rock asked: State Police were escorting about 20 tractor trailer rigs over the weekend around 11:00 am on I-430. Can you tell me why?

First, State Police were not involved – but the highway police were. Turns out, they were escorting a convoy of rigs as part of the annual fundraising event for the Arkansas Special Olympics.

Every year, a huge convoy circles the Little Rock, North Little Rock area on I-40, I-430 and I-30 and it ends with a big ceremony.

DITTO DITTO..Maybe because truckers are regarded about as highly as motorcycle riders....even tho' both are primarily good people. Well it's over now.
