¿Que es el cáncer de seno?
Los senos están situados sobre los músculos del pecho y cada uno está formado por 15 ó 20 lóbulos que contienen muchos lobulillos. Los lobulillos contienen grupos de glándulas diminutas que pueden producir leche. La leche fluye de los lobulillos al pezón por unos tubos delgados llamados conductos. El pezón está en el centro de un área oscura de piel llamada la areola. El espacio entre los lobulillos y los conductos está lleno de grasa.
