Kelly Dudzik: "One of the big things you can do to cut your energy bill, make sure your house is insulated properly. When we tested this house, we saw that she had a lot problems through the walls, through the ceiling, just all this hot air pouring in."

Bret Curry: "That's right, Kelly. Through our comprehensive audit, we learned this house needed more insulation in the attic. As a matter of fact, we found some places where there weren't any, and what we would recommend, is for the homeowner to come back and have the celluose insulation installed in the attic. For the do-it-yourselfer, you can go to some of the home supply stores and actually buy the product, and if you get a certain amount, they'll actually give you the blower equipment to install it yourself."

Kelly Dudzik: "How easy is this for you to do by yourself? Do you need a helper?"

Bret Curry: "Actually two people can do it."

Kelly Dudzik: "Okay."

Bret Curry: "You need somebody to put the celluose into the hopper and the other person in the attic. Of course, on a day like today, I would wait til late in the evening or the early morning to do it."

Kelly Dudzik: "And, how long would this take you to do?"

Bret Curry: "An 1100 square foot house like this, you could probably do in two to three hours."
