LITTLE ROCK-- The Arkansas Electric Cooperatives shows us what the duct blaster machine does to help save money on energy bills.

"The machine enables us to test the duct work and how much leakage we have in the distribution of conditioned air," said spokesperson Bret Curry.

When big leaks are found, Curry advises consumers to consult professional help.

"Some people might be able to fix it themselves. But what we really caution people when you are working up above, you need to be really careful because its not worth falling through the ceiling, furthermore hurting yourself," said Curry.
