This is National Sleep Awareness Week and for those of us trying to get a better night's rest, a new study finds we just need to start working out more.

"People who exercised reported to have better sleep and better quality of sleep as compared to people who did not exercise," says Dr. Harneet Walia with the Sleep Disorders Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Researchers at the National Sleep Foundation polled one-thousand people between the ages of 23 and 60.

They found that those who exercise say they get a better night's sleep and feel more rested.

Those who exercise the hardest say they sleep the best.

On the flip side, they found non-exercisers sleep less and are at greater risk for sleep apnea.

In Doctor on Call, Teresa wants to know: "Does adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) cause problems if left untreated?"

According to Dr. Oksana Melnyk at Baptist Health Family Clinic, "if left untreated adult ADHD can lead to a number of problems including unstable relationships, poor work or school performance and low self-esteem. ADHD always starts in early childhood, but in some cases, it's not diagnosed until later in life. For many adults, the problems improve with treatment.
