Drug Take Back Program

Law enforcement officials across the state invite Arkansans to turn in their unwanted prescription drugs so they don't end up in the wrong hands.
Law enforcement agencies all across the state want to make it easy for Arkansans with unwanted prescription drugs lying around the house to get rid of them safely.

Rather than flush them down the toilet, where they don't always dissolve and can have an impact on our drinking water, officials say it's better to just turn them in so they can be disposed of safely.

Police departments and sheriff's offices are holding another Drug Take Back Campaign this weekend, and if you can't make it, look for special drop boxes many of them have outside their buildings for easy access all the time.
