Hot Springs, AR - A new foundation is coming together to raise funds and awareness for people who need facial reconstructive surgery.
Chad McGriff, Executive Director of FACES comes onto FOX16 to raise awareness about the charity and exciting news about the Project Runway designers who have agreed to take part.
The FACES Foundation is helping the community by providing services to low income, those in need, and active military and veterans with facial surgery and reconstruction at no-cost to them. The partner doctors and staff provide these services free of charge to aid those suffering with birth defects, facial scaring, facial reconstruction, and those that have suffered from war injuries. In return for provided services, The FACES Foundation asks that those individuals Pay-It-Forward by donating their time to partnering non-profits in the area with their needs to serve the community.
The Foundation was started by Dr. Daron Praetzel of Hot Springs and has community partners including Arkansas Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Arkansas Center for Surgical Excellence, Hot Springs Rotary, Habitat for Humanity of Garland County, Dr. Kyle Benton Family Dentistry, among others.
