Little Rock, AR -- Your little ones are back in school now - which can be very stressful. Some kids worry about new teachers - making friends - and new surroundings. All those things can all add up to tummy troubles.
Back to school tummy aches are an example of functional abdominal pain. It's real stomach pain that's not caused by sickness or structural problems.
Dr. Katie Lamparyk says this type of tummy ache can have a very cyclical pattern - where pain increases anxiety and anxiety increases pain.
She adds the worst thing a parent can do is help their child avoid things that are causing anxiety - like school.
If your child is stressed about going back to school, dr. Lamparyk suggests meeting with the teacher and figuring out a way to eliminate some of the 'unknowns' that may be causing anxiety.
If you're a coffee drinker listen up! Drinking more than four cups a day could be harmful to your health especially if you are under 55.
Researchers at the University of South Carolina analyzed data from more than 40-thousand adults who were followed for nearly two decades.
They found drinking four cups a day, increased the risk of death from all causes by more than 50-percent in both men and women.
People who drank that much coffee were more likely to smoke and be out of shape factors that also increase the risk of death.
Researchers say coffee is known to increase blood pressure -- and that could increase the risk for heart troubles.
