A fired Little Rock police officer goes to court for arraignment this morning on a manslaughter charge.

Josh Hastings was charged in a police shooting last year that left a teenager dead.

Hastings at first told investigators that a suspect's car was rolling towards him when he opened fire, killing Bobby Moore, 15, at a West Little Rock apartment complex in August.

An investigation later revealed the car Moore was driving was actually going in reverse.

If convicted, Hastings could face up to 10 years in prison.

@itsjustme I agree with your statement two wrongs never make a right but he will more than likely get off or get probation. The courts are not always right. He should burn in hell for killing that kid. The same way the christians say that those women will for having an abortion. Murder is murder

Two wrongs never make a right. The kd was wrong for being out stealing, and it appears the cop was wrong for shooting him. We'll see what the courts say.

When is the trial this guy has been walking free almost a year now. If the kid was convicted on stealing a car he would not have gotten the death penalty. Stop making excuses for that murdering thug of an officer.

Also, Moore was driving a stolen car. He was out and about breaking into vehicles of hard working Americans in the middle of the night. So what if the car was proven to be in reverse, Shadow Lake apt has dead ends. The kid probably couldn't turn around and decided to drive in reverse to get out of the complex.
