Going to college can set students on a path to a much brighter future.

This week, Governor Mike Beebe is teaming up with the Arkansas Department of Education for "Say Go to College!" week.

Each day of the week is devoted to a special event in Arkansas that is helping promote high school students going on to college.

This morning at Hall High School in Little Rock they're holding a rally with students and the governor to get kids excited about the week.

Part of the process of going to college is applying to the school of your choice.

Teachers and volunteers are working with students this week to help them fill out and send applications.
