Two more cases of hantavirus in California. That brings the total number of infected Yosemite visitors to six. And at this point two of those six have died.
The virus outbreak took place in the signature cabins; park rangers say they've now discovered a design flaw in the cabin walls. And the cabins will remain closed until they are retrofitted.
Two federal epidemiologists are working in the park, trapping mice and other rodents in an effort to determine how much of the population is infected.
Kids follow parents exercise example
Kids are more likely to exercise if they see their parents doing it too.
National Jewish Health researchers studied families. They were asked to increase their physical activity by adding an additional 2,000 steps per day.
Results show when mom and/or dad exceeded their goal, their children averaged more steps, too. But when mom or dad did not hit their mark, their children also fell short.
