A new government report shows more than one in every five Americans has untreated cavities.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention researchers say it appears there haven't been any significant strides in reducing untreated cavities over the past decade.
Americans between 20 and 44 years old have the highest rate of untreated cavities, while teens have the lowest.
Researchers also found children are getting dental care regardless of their family's income.
Mostly because of federal health programs.
Laser eye surgery
A Maryland eye surgeon becomes one of the first in the country to use a new laser for cataract surgery.
Doctor Scott Laborwit says it is more precise, and the eye suffers less trauma.
That's why he took out a million dollar loan to make sure he got the machine.
Insurance doesn't cover the extra cost from this type of surgery, which is about a thousand dollars an eye.
