Arkansas Children's Hospital celebrates the largest construction project in the hospital's 100 year history.
The hospital is planning an event Wednesday to unveil the new south wing.
The 258,000 square-foot expansion adds 54 inpatient beds, updates to the heart center and neonatal intensive care unit, and a new emergency department.
The building also includes more clinic space and a new unit for children with cancer.
Junk Food Appeal
Researchers examined the areas of the brain that are most active when people look at healthy and unhealthy foods.
They found the brain was most active when sleep-deprived volunteers saw pictures of unhealthy foods.
Another smaller study found significantly impaired activity in the area of the brain that helps control behavior in sleep-deprived people.
Birthday Deaths
A Swiss study reports that you are more likely to die on your birthday.
According to the study, it showed that at least 14% more deaths happen on birthdays than any other day of the year.
It says that the risk increased by 18% for people over the age of 60.
The study also showed a 35% rise in birthday suicides for men and a 28% increase for accidental deaths.
