Well we've changed books to e-books, and snail mail to e-mail.
So why not e-prescriptions?
Australian researchers found we could benefit by replacing doctor's paper prescriptions with an electronic version.
Of all the doctors they studied, errors dropped by 60% when they used computers instead of hand-written prescriptions.
The most common problem with paper prescriptions? You guessed it - poor handwriting causing unclear orders.
Sugar taxes
One publications says sugar should be taxed alongside alcohol and tobacco because it is a health danger.
Writers in the journal "nature" say that around 35-million people die each year of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, which can all be related to sugar consumption.
They suggest a tax added to sugars would help meet the growing costs of sugar-related health problems and discourage consumption.
A federal soda tax is in consideration that would raise the price of a can of the fizzy drink by around $.10 - $.12.
